Kishangarh is a municipal council,which is situated in Ajmer
District of the state of Rajasthan.This city is located around 18 miles
north-west of the city of Ajmer. It is famous for Kishangarh
style of painting,which includes the beautiful depiction of a
courtesan named Bani Thani.Moreover, in the past few years,
Kishangarh has emerged as the marble city of India.
Kishangarh is popular among tourists for its temple of nine planets,
which is unique. The princely state of Kishangarh was founded in 1609 by Jodhpur Prince Kishan Singh. A princely flag of Kishangarh, named Coat of Arms, was established in 1893. This city was once the capital of the princely state situated in the Rajputana Agency.
